1 What distinguishes Precision Power Wash Pros from standard commercial cleaning companies?

Precision Power Wash Pros is the industrial and government cleaning division of General Cleaning Solutions, Inc. — a Bay Area cleaning company with 26 years of continuous operation since 2000. We specialize in facilities with higher operational complexity, stricter compliance requirements, and greater technical demands than standard commercial cleaning: manufacturing plants, government facilities, biotech campuses, transit operations, and hospital systems. We are licensed, insured, bonded, and OSHA compliant, with the documentation and procurement credentials to meet institutional client requirements.

2 Are you able to respond to government RFPs and bid on public contracts?

Yes — responding to government solicitations is a core part of our business. We respond to RFPs, IFBs, and RFQs. We participate in cooperative purchasing through CMAS (California Multiple Award Schedule), NASPO ValuePoint, and Sourcewell. We can provide certified payroll for prevailing wage jobs, carry insurance at levels required by most public agencies, and produce the compliance documentation required for public contracts. Use our RFP submission form at generalcleaningsolutions.com/rfp.html for formal solicitations.

3 What insurance coverage do you carry?

General Cleaning Solutions, Inc. carries comprehensive general liability insurance at $2M+ per occurrence, workers compensation coverage, and commercial auto insurance. We are bonded. Certificates of Insurance (COI) naming additional insureds are available immediately upon request — standard for government and institutional procurement requirements.

4 Do you provide certified payroll for prevailing wage jobs?

Yes — we have certified payroll capability for public works projects requiring prevailing wage compliance under California Labor Code. We are familiar with DIR requirements and can produce the required payroll documentation for public agency contracts.

5 What does "specification-grade" mean in practice?

Specification-grade cleaning means our work meets documented performance standards rather than just visual appearance standards. For surface preparation washing, this means SSPC standards. For government facilities, this means documented service completion records. For OSHA-sensitive environments, this means written safety protocols and compliant chemical selection. For food-adjacent and pharmaceutical facilities, this means material-compatible product selection with MSDS documentation. We document our work to the standard required by the client and their governing requirements.

6 What equipment do you use?

Our primary industrial unit is a 24.8 HP Kubota diesel driving 4,000 PSI at 8.9 GPM with hot water injection capability at 200°F. This is genuine industrial-grade equipment — not prosumer equipment retrofitted for commercial use. For wastewater containment, we use OSHA-compliant collection systems. For surface preparation, we have equipment capable of SSPC-SP 12 water jetting standards. For flat surface work, we use commercial rotary surface cleaners for consistent coverage without scarring.

7 How do you handle wastewater from industrial cleaning?

California environmental regulations prohibit discharge of contaminated wastewater — particularly petroleum-contaminated water — into storm drains or surface water. We use appropriate containment methods for the site and soiling type, and handle disposal through compliant channels. For government and regulated facility projects, we can provide documentation of our wastewater management approach for environmental compliance records.

8 Can you clean biotech and pharmaceutical facilities?

Yes — with appropriate care. Biotech and pharmaceutical facility cleaning requires material compatibility review before product selection to avoid interfering with research environments or contaminating clean zones. We conduct a pre-service assessment for every bio/pharma project to identify products, procedures, and scheduling that meets the facility's operational requirements. We have significant experience in the South San Francisco biotech corridor.

9 Do you service all Bay Area cities?

Yes — we serve all 39 Bay Area cities: San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland, Palo Alto, Berkeley, Fremont, Hayward, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Redwood City, South San Francisco, San Mateo, Burlingame, Mountain View, Daly-City, Menlo-Park, Milpitas, Alameda, Richmond, San Rafael, Novato, Petaluma, Santa Rosa, Sausalito, Vallejo, Napa, Fairfield, Vacaville, Concord, Walnut-Creek, Pleasanton, Livermore, Tracy, Stockton, Santa-Cruz, Half-Moon-Bay, Hillsborough, San-Bruno, Millbrae.

10 What is your response time for emergency industrial cleaning?

We offer emergency response service for urgent industrial cleaning situations — chemical spill area cleanup, pre-inspection preparation, post-incident facility cleaning, and graffiti on government or industrial property. Typical emergency response is 24–48 hours throughout the Bay Area. Call us directly for urgent requests.

11 Can you provide references from similar facilities?

Yes — references from comparable facility types are available upon request. Our institutional track record includes Moscone Center, Civic Center Parking Garage, Fifth & Mission Parking Garage, Japan Town Garage, Stanford University, and UC Berkeley. We can connect prospective clients with references from appropriate comparable projects.
